Ivee Wang - Aspiring Architect
Hello! I am an architectural designer based in Toronto.
Currently I am a master student at University of Toronto Daniels school of architecture. My passion lies in the intersection between digital fabrication, material innovation and the art of craft. In the past five years of my academic and professional career, I have been constantly exploring my interest through various research and design projects. I have also accumulated two years of professional working experience for firms which are conducting related research, such as Kengo Kuma, Alison Brooks and Williamson Williamson Inc.
I am a skilled with digital software, hand sketching as well as physical modelling. Aside from my design projects, I am also interested in exploring the social and environmental influence of architecture through advanced research. At University of Waterloo, I have participated in a research project with Professor Adrian Blackwell on the influence of China’s economic reform on its urban development, and a research project with Professor Elizabeth English on amphibious housing in south Louisiana. I hope to continue developing my analytic skill in my future career.
